Diversifying Trade: Barriers and Opportunities in Atlantic Canada

With some businesses and communities looking to reduce the risk of U.S. and Chinese tariffs, and others exploring growth opportunities in new markets, the future may look very different from the past. Join us on Monday, June 1 in Halifax for a panel discussion exploring what the federal commitment to double non-U.S. exports within a decade means for Atlantic Canada.

The panel, moderated by the IRPP’s vice president of research, Rachel Samson, will feature David Chaundy, President and CEO of the Atlantic Economic Council; Melanie Nadeau, CEO of the Centre for Ocean Ventures and Entrepreneurship; and Seamus O’Regan, former federal cabinet minister and IRPP board member.

The panel will be followed by a Q&A and a light reception.
